We are proud to announce the Chimera slide. We have always followed the principle Function over Form. But quickly realized you can have both. And this slide is the perfect example of that.
Customer Supplied OEM Glock slides only for this slide package. The G43/43x and G48 OEM slides will have serrations in the rear of the slide in place of knurling. This is due to the slide being too thin to remove the OEMÂ serrations and have enough material for knurling.
Leadtime is 6-8 weeks for cerakoted slides. Adding the 2 Tone DLC finish, one of our barrels or Typhon porting to your OEM barrel, this adds 4 weeks to the lead time, as we send them out for DLC coating after they are cut.
2 tone DLC finish is now an option for this package. Very slight ghosting may be visible on the rear of the slide where we remove the factory serrations (only noticeable from certain angles, in certain lighting and when you are looking for it). Most people won’t even be able to tell, but if this concerns you please check out our aftermarket 2 tone DLC slide/barrel combo
